Charlotte Wilk becomes a member of Gatehouse Chambers

Gatehouse Chambers is delighted to welcome Charlotte Wilk as a member following the successful completion of her pupillage.

Charlotte has a particular interest in clinical negligence, personal injury and costs. She also accepts instructions in housing and commercial matters.

Charlotte has experience in dealing with a range of hearings including small claims and fast track, MOJ stage 3 hearings, ADR hearings, allocation hearings and applications.

Before becoming a barrister, Charlotte directed a series of documentaries in the healthcare sector, covering issues in obstetrics and gynaecology, human trafficking, and environmental health. Charlotte has substantial public speaking experience, including previously delivering a lecture for the Royal Academy of Arts on Joseph Cornell and Marcel Duchamp’s suitcase art.

Prior to commencing her legal studies, Charlotte travelled on her own to 17 countries to photograph unusual libraries and bookshops.
