Brazil remains a relatively unknown jurisdiction for international arbitration in London, unlike New York, Washington or even Paris. However, it is now a buzzing centre for energy, infrastructure, aviation, commodities and insurance arbitrations. Indeed the ICC opened its third office outside Paris there just over a year ago, to service demand.
Hardwicke’s seminar brings together some of the brightest sparks of Brazilian international arbitration to discuss and debate experiences and opportunities . Coming straight off the back of São Paulo Arbitration week, Carlos Forbes, president of CAM-CCBC (Brazil’s largest international arbitration chamber) will deliver its perspective. The panel, led by Nigel Jones QC, will then discuss experiences and opportunities.
