Economic Duress

In this seminar, Nigel Jones KC and Tom Bell will be speaking about the doctrine of economic duress, and in particular the recent decision of the Court of Appeal in Times Travel (UK) Ltd v Pakistan International Airlines Corporation, now the leading case on lawful act economic duress, in which they appeared on behalf of the successful appellant. The seminar aims to cast light on this complex area of law as well as addressing the practical implications of the decision.
