The most important but least understood area of construction law? Join Kort Egan, Mark O’Grady and James Shaw at 12pm on 16 December where they will explore the law concerning payment provisions, common areas of dispute and the latest developments in this heavily contested area. The speakers will cover:
- The role of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 (“the HGRCA 1996”);
- Common mistakes made by parties and how the court deals with them;
- True value adjudications – what are they and when can you do one.
All the seminars in this programme are aimed at junior construction lawyers wishing to build up their knowledge of some of the issues that come up regularly in practice and also any senior lawyers looking for a refresher.
