- Directions by Underground
We are easily reached by London Underground:
Chancery Lane (Central Line) is the closest Underground station to Gray’s Inn. Use exit 1 and then walk along High Holborn to Lady Hale Gate which is the main entrance into Gray’s Inn. Upon entering the Inn, Gatehouse Chambers is the first building on your right just before the Porters’ Lodge.
Holborn (Central and Piccadilly Lines) is a short walk away from Chambers. Use the British Museum and High Holborn exit, then turn right. Cross High Holborn and then continue walking towards Chancery Lane station. You will find the main entrance to Gray’s Inn on your left hand side.
Temple (Circle and District Lines) is also a short walk away. Turn left after exiting the station. Cross the road (Temple Place), head up Arundel Street and continue walking until you reach the Strand. Turn right into the Strand and continue walking (the Royal Courts of Justice will be on your left), until you reach a set of traffic lights. Cross the road and turn into Chancery Lane and continue until you reach High Holborn. Turn right and walk towards Chancery Lane station. You will find the main entrance to Gray’s Inn on your left hand side.
