Dean Underwood succeeds in the Court of Appeal. Dean Underwood has won his latest case in the Court of Appeal, representing a former tenant seeking the unpaid balance of a tenancy deposit. In Howard v Stanton, Dean came in for high praise from Lord Justice Lewison for his 'excellent skeleton argument' and forceful submissions. The case has been remitted to the county court for a fresh hearing of the landlord's earlier appeal to the circuit judge, where Dean will continue to act for Mrs Howard. The Court of Appeal expressed its gratitude to both Dean and his instructing solicitor, Daniel Skinner of Batchelors Solicitors, for their hard work in the case.
