Emma Zeb KC appointed to The Football Association’s Safeguarding Review Panel

Gatehouse Chambers is delighted to announce that Emma Zeb KC has been appointed as a Specialist Panel Member of The Football Association’s (FA) Safeguarding Review Panel.
The FA is the governing body of football in England, responsible for overseeing and developing the game at every level, from grassroots participation through to the professional game. The FA’s Safeguarding Review Panel supports the organisation’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding across the sport. Panel members are appointed for their specialist expertise and experience in reviewing complex safeguarding matters, providing independent scrutiny, and making recommendations to help promote best practice.
Consistently recognised by both Chambers UK and The Legal 500, Emma is a highly experienced and well-respected barrister specialising in inquests, inquiries, investigations and injury litigation. She is widely recognised for her expertise in matters involving the care and protection of vulnerable people and is regularly instructed in complex and sensitive cases concerning safeguarding, institutional failings and public accountability. Emma has extensive experience advising and representing public bodies and organisations in cases involving welfare, risk management, governance and investigatory processes, and is particularly sought after in matters requiring the careful and independent assessment of safeguarding concerns. Her recent work includes nationally significant inquiries such as the UK Covid-19, Nottingham and Manston inquiries.
