This session will consider the high-level issues of principle facing emerging insolvency regimes in the region and offer practical insight, through a worked example, of the challenges and opportunities for businesses in distress from the very early stages of financial decline to creating long term solutions, including the disputes perspective.

We will provide a practical look into an alternative insolvency mechanism which is available onshore in mainland UAE and in the offshore DIFC and ADGM jurisdictions. You will leave this session with a deeper understanding of how this insolvency mechanism can positively assist and support our community, save jobs and foster trust between businesses and people alike.
