Rubenstein v HSBC: SAAMCO – revised or applied?

On 12 September 2012 the Court of Appeal handed down its decision in Rubenstein v HSBC Bank Plc [2012] EWCA, overturning a controversial High Court decision in a financial professional negligence claim by a private retail customer.
