This April, fundamental changes were made to school funding. The changes affect funding formulas across authorities in England. The changes to funding for special units, special schools and non-maintained schools can change the result of the s9 balance in SEN cases.
This seminar reviews these changes and gives practitioners the chance to discuss the evidence required and how to present it from the perspective of both appellants and respondents.
The seminar then considers the SEN and disability cases decided in 2013 setting out the latest trends in SEN decision making.
The speakers will be Clive Rawlings, Fiona Scolding and David Lawson, well known advocates in SEN and all areas of education law.
