Hardwicke hosts Inner Temple Schools Project
Today Hardwicke hosted students taking part in the Inner Temple Schools Project. The Project is part of Pathways to Law, a national programme that supports high-achieving state school students into leading Russell Group universities and subsequently into the legal professions. The programme provides support to students from under-represented backgrounds through a series of lectures, seminars, workshops and guidance sessions.
Hardwicke hosted a group of around 20 Year 13 students who are nearing the end of the second year of the two-year Pathways programme. Philippa Harris and Colm Nugent spoke about life as a member of chambers, the different kinds of work barristers do and the realities of life at the Bar while Catherine Piercy, Anna Tkaczynska and Alexander Campbell gave the students tips about pupillage and outlined the challenges of being a junior barrister.
