Helena Drage joins Attorney General’s C Panel

We are delighted to announce that Helena Drage has been appointed to the Attorney General’s C Panel of Counsel, with effect from 1 September 2021.

Members of the panel are instructed to advise and represent Her Majesty’s Government in all areas of legal work, including the most high-profile government litigation.

Helena specialises in clinical negligence and personal injury work, insurance disputes and commercial litigation. She frequently appears in the County Court for Claimants and Defendants in trials, applications and case management hearings, and has appeared in the High Court on multiple occasions in her own right.

Helena has also been instructed as junior counsel to the Grenfell Tower Inquiry and has been working on issues pertaining to the construction and renovation of the Tower.

Before coming to the Bar, Helena was a Visiting Researcher at the Centre for the Humanities and Health at King’s College London. Her research and teaching centred on bioethics and global health justice. She has spoken on these topics at the University of California, Berkeley and Columbia University, New York.
