Leading clinical negligence/personal injury practitioners, Emma Zeb and Vanessa McKinlay, to join Gatehouse Chambers
As Hardwicke becomes Gatehouse Chambers, its leading clinical negligence/personal injury team will be given a significant boost by the arrival of Emma Zeb (1998 call) and Vanessa McKinlay (2000 call) on Monday 19 July 2021.
“It is an enormous privilege to welcome Emma and Vanessa who join us from St John’s Chambers in Bristol. Having worked alongside them, I know what outstanding barristers they both are and they will be a real asset to the team.” says head of team, clinical negligence and personal injury silk, Charles Bagot QC.
“We could not be more excited about our move,” says Emma. “We see this as a very important development for us both in terms of our respective careers and we are confident that, in Gatehouse Chambers, we have found an environment in which we will thrive.”
Vanessa agrees. “There is clear synergy between our practices, ethos and values with that of the team at Gatehouse Chambers. We are looking forward to contributing to the team and Chambers as a whole, and the exciting times ahead.”
“I look forward to working with Emma and Vanessa and being able to offer their particular experience and expertise to clients,” comments Amanda Illing, Chief Executive.
Brie Stevens-Hoare QC is equally enthusiastic. “It is a personal pleasure for me to welcome two such successful and prominent women to Gatehouse Chambers. They join us as we start the next exciting phase of our growth and development with our name change and move to 1 Lady Hale Gate, Gray’s Inn on 19th July 2021.”
