Michael Wheater KC takes silk

Gatehouse Chambers is delighted to celebrate the appointment of Michael Wheater KC who has been sworn in as King’s Counsel today by the Lord Chancellor at a ceremony at Westminster Hall.

Michael is a sought-after barrister, adjudicator, mediator and arbitrator, specialising in construction and insurance litigation with a particular focus on domestic and international construction and engineering disputes, professional negligence claims and property damage.

He has been recommended as a leading construction, insurance and professional negligence barrister for many years in Chambers UK, Chambers Global and The Legal 500.
