The Arbitration Act completed its passage through Parliament and received Royal Assent in February, which marks a significant milestone in the evolution of arbitration law in England and Wales.
Join our Commercial Arbitration Team for a Brew on 18th March, where our panel of speakers will discuss the impact of the changes.
***We’re delighted to announce that we will be joined by Lord David Hacking. David has been a leading figure in international arbitration for over 40 years. In the House of Lords, as Lord Hacking, he pioneered English arbitration law reform, shepherding through Parliament the Arbitration Bill of 1979 and promoting the passage through Parliament of the Arbitration Bill of 1996. He also worked on Bill for the 2025 Act.***
Gatehouse speakers will include Charles Raffin, Frederico Singarajah, Emily Betts and Aileen McErlean.
