Patrick joined Gatehouse Chambers in 2014 and was appointed to Senior Practice Manager in 2022.
Patrick is responsible for the management and development of our barristers’ practices, and for the promotion of specialist practice areas, working closely with the Practice Director and Senior Management Team to implement chambers’ wider strategic goals. He has a particular focus on our Property, Private Client and Professional Negligence teams, but can advise across the full breadth of chambers’ work and has in-depth knowledge of our members’ expertise.
In both 2022 and 2024, Patrick was shortlisted for Clerk of the Year at the Legal 500 Bar Awards. Patrick won the Chambers Professional of the Year at the Advocate Bar Pro Bono Awards in 2021, and he has a particular interest in and commitment to access to justice. Patrick is involved in Gatehouse’s EDI initiatives and CSR programme and is a key contact for any clients wishing to collaborate in those spaces.

Patrick supports FreeBar, a forum focused on LGBT+ people and their allies working at and for the Bar. He also volunteers as a receptionist at the Waterloo Legal Advice Service. In 2021 he won Advocate’s Pro Bono Chambers’ Professional of the Year Award.
