Sarah Clarke, Charles Raffin, Frederico Singarajah and Jack Dillon will address various issues and themes arising in the modern law of unlawful means conspiracy. These will include the elements of the tort, jurisdiction, pleading and remedies.
Our esteemed panel of speakers will look at:
- Unlawful Means Conspiracy: context, content of the cause of action and some key cases.
- Navigating the potential pitfalls of unlawful means conspiracy, from the context of added complexities that come from the cross-border element.
- Practical guidance on pleadings and the unique challenges of setting out a case in conspiracy.
- Issues of relief, with a focus on recovering damages, questions of assessment, and exceptions to recovery, including credit for related transactions and collateral benefits.
