Legal professionals

Legal professionals overview

We act for and against solicitors and barristers, advising on claims arising out of both litigation (of all types) and non-contentious business, such as conveyancing and mortgage lending, the drafting of corporate and commercial contracts, leases, trusts and wills.

Members of the team can draw on expertise across all of chambers’ areas of practice such as property, commercial disputes, construction and personal injury in dealing with allegations of misconduct of litigation or negligence in transactional work.

As well as Construction Professional Indemnity Insurance by Paul Reed QC (published by Sweet & Maxwell), John de Waal QC has edited Risk and Negligence in Property Transactions, to both of which texts members of our team have contributed.  Members are regularly invited to speak at industry events relating to property, professional liability and insurance.
