The Equality Act 2010 has featured in residential possession claim defences for over two years now and this seminar takes a timely look at the appropriateness, effectiveness and force of these arguments as well as the procedural implications, such as the potential appointment of assessors and summary disposal.
Chairing the session will be Arthur Moore (who wrote an article on the application of the s149 Public Sector Equality Duty in December 2012’s Social Housing Newsletter), whilst the speakers are Andy Lane and Laura Tweedy, both noted as leading juniors in the Social Housing field in the latest edition of Chambers UK.
This seminar is part of our Social Housing Seminar Programme for 2013.
