Fraud overview

We have a first class and highly sought-after team that deal with all forms of insurance fraud. This includes extensive knowledge in suspected staged/contrived accidents, ‘phantom passenger’ claims, induced collisions, low velocity impact collisions and claims involving exaggerated losses.

Many of our members also have specialist knowledge of defending suspected ‘fraud rings’; high value PI malingering cases and technical issues under the Road Traffic Acts and MIB agreements.

We have dedicated and highly experienced counsel that are instructed to deal with issues like contempt of court, committal, and fundamental dishonesty. Members are regularly called upon to provide practical advice to solicitors and insurers from an early stage in proceedings through to trial. They always act with sensitivity to the demands of professional insurer clients.

Members also are skilled at handling misrepresentation issues and non-disclosure in insurance agreements, digital evidence and policy coverage issues.
