Aphrodite joined Gatehouse Chambers in June 2025 as Head of HR and a member of the Senior Management Team.
Aphrodite brings over a decade of experience in the legal sector, having begun her career at a London-based law firm as an Office Administrator and Property Paralegal following her graduation from the University of Hertfordshire. In 2018, she was promoted to a managerial position with responsibility for three offices and the front of house team.
Over the past seven years, Aphrodite has successfully developed and led HR and operations functions across four offices, supporting organisational growth. During this time, she also designed and implemented a legal case management system that enhanced efficiency and client service. A strong advocate for wellbeing in the workplace, Aphrodite led a dedicated wellbeing programme and team — an area she continues to champion at a strategic level.
Aphrodite is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and is committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative working culture that enables everyone to thrive.
Outside of work, Aphrodite enjoys travel, wellness, and social activities.
