Gatehouse Chambers’ Commercial and Insolvency Teams are delighted to announce the dates of their seminar series for 2022. These interactive sessions will be a mixture of online and in-person seminars.
The series will consider the important aspects of the duties of directors and the claims against them from solvency through the twilight zone and into insolvency. The series will then, in the Autumn, move on to look at some of the technical aspects of tracing assets whether against errant directors once claims have been successful or in the insolvency context. We are hoping to be joined in these seminars by a series of external speakers and details will be announced in due course.
- Claims against insurers, including claims under the Third Parties (Rights Against Insurers) Act 2010
- Claims against Guarantors
- Non-party costs orders. Applying the broad principles of this discretionary jurisdiction to the likely targets of the application in a commercial and insolvency context
